Papa Zhang’s BBQ & Hot Pot

Had an amazing dining experience at Papa Zhang’s BBQ & Hot Pot! The food was incredibly fresh, and the broth was rich and flavorful. The service was top-notch—Amanda took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed and offering excellent recommendations. The ambiance was cozy, and the variety of meats and seafood was impressive. Definitely coming back soon!

The food is fresh and the price is fair. The meat is sliced paper thin, but some how it works. If you keep the meat coming, you can get pretty full. There's a nice selection of veggies, broth, seafood and meat. The broths are nice a full of flavor. I hope they don't change the quality of their food! Only thing they can really improve on is the service. It was slow. We took a while to be seated and the meat came out pretty slow too. Our waitress tried ger best, and at least we weren't rushed out. Can't really fault them though, they have been open for a little less than 3 months! I will be coming back!

My family is so happy to have found this restaurant. We now don't have to drive to Los Angeles or Orange county when we crave for hot pot. We love how clean and inviting the restaurant is. The ambiance is great with good music. There are different varieties of seafood, noodles and very clean fresh vegetables. As for soup choices, there are plenty to choose from. The server will top of your broth once you run low. We tried the mushroom, tom yam, and gold soup bases. We ordered beef and lamb. They were all very good quality meat. I was especially pleased with the sauce bar where you can choose from several different ingredients to make your own custom sauce or follow some of the recipes they give. All in all, my family love this restaurant and definitely will come back.

The food was good and the look of the place was nice . They just need better music playing to liven up the place. Their bar is really nice. They should add more vegetable options.

When we walked in, we noticed that this place was super clean. The staff helped us right away and answered any questions we needed regarding the menu. This place is all you can eat so you will for sure leave full and satisfied. They have self serve food bars, sauce making bar and fruit bar. I like the fruit bar cause I like eating fruit after my meals. They also have a karaoke bar for big groups. The food was fresh and so many varieties.

Newest opening hot pot and bbq place inside the mall, after a load of shopping it is a perfect spot to get your energy back! The food here were fresh and delicious, I love their choice of meat. It was very thin but the texture and the flavor were great, especially with their secret sauce on the wall. Our server were very friendly and willing to help And I love their paper holder it’s a cute cutter corn

First time trying this place and I was surprised. It was very spacious and clean. You aren't too close to the next table and each table has your own individual soup pot. Buffet was nice and clean, you have great selection. One side had all your veggies, on the next side had all the seafood. I love the sauce bars and the poster signs on suggestions on how to make your sauces. I wish there was ponzu sauce but that's okay the other options were great. Meat selection was great and also comes with appetizers. We only tried the chicken wings and fried rice. The fried rice is small and individual so if your ordering it order one for each person. Soup options, I wish there was a description, but I got the ancient spicy soup which is like the Sichuan flavor. Personally it wasnt really spicy for me but I love spicy and the flavor was good. You can always add more spice for your liking. We also got the gold soup which is like chicken broth base. There is also a small dessert bar with a few sweet options and the rest is fruit. Overall first experience with food, service and atmosphere was great. I would come back and reccomend to try this place out.

Really good AYCE hot pot in the IE. Great veggie bar with a lot of options like pumpkin, quail eggs, wood ear mushrooms, enoki, has it all. The hot pot bases are great, ancient spicy soup has good mala/szechuan spice to it, and the sauce bar rivals haidiloa. Will definitely be coming back!
